Principal
David R. Bethel, MAI, is a Principal with Allen, Williford & Seale, Inc. and brings more than 25 years of experience in real estate appraisal. He holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licensed in multiple states nationwide. Mr. Bethel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Bethel’s experience includes appraising a broad range of right-of-way projects involving agricultural, recreational, residential, commercial, and industrial properties. His project work has supported oil and gas pipelines, electric transmission lines, and highway corridors. David has extensive litigation experience, having served as a trusted valuation expert in numerous court proceedings, including special commissioner hearings and trial court cases on both the state and federal level.
Mr. Bethel is currently certified as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the following states: Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Mr. Bethel is an active member of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), previously served as President of the Houston Chapter of the IRWA and was named IRWA Professional of the Year in 2014. He has co-authored, Pipeline Proximity: The truth about the impact on value in the Right of Way Magazine, May/June Edition.
