Brent T. Hillin, MAI, is a MAI Designated Appraiser with Allen, Williford & Seale, Inc. He has worked at the firm for more than 20 years, bringing extensive expertise in the specialty of right-of-way and eminent domain appraisal. He joined AWS in 2004 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University. Mr. Hillin holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in multiple states.

Mr. Hillin has appraised all property types, including agricultural, recreational, single-family residential, multi-family residential, commercial, and industrial real estate. His experience also encompasses a wide variety of complex improved properties, such as residential subdivisions, commercial developments, all types of retail properties, gas stations, office buildings, industrial buildings, multi-family developments, and mixed-use developments.

His broad right-of-way project experience includes work on oil and gas pipelines, electric transmission lines, highways, light rail systems, airport infrastructure, and water canals and distribution systems. Mr. Hillin has specialized experience with federal right-of-way projects, adhering to the Uniform Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (Yellow Book) for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Mr. Hillin is currently certified in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Illinois, and North Carolina.
